Our Story
Hi there! We’re Doug and Amanda—a husband-and-wife team who met and built our life together in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. After spending most of our lives in the city, a great job opportunity for Doug led us to the charming small town of Taylor, where the cooler weather and slower pace stole our hearts.
We both work hard in our professions, but our favorite time is the time we spend together—milking cows, gardening, and caring for our farm animals. Our little homestead is kept running smoothly with the help of our beloved team of collies, who are just as much a part of the family as anyone else.
We love the life we’ve built and feel grateful every day for the simple joys that come with living close to the land and each other.
